2011 was a very busy year for me and a very happy one. 

this year i am hoping to direct and act in a new feature film later in the year! will keep you posted.

Hi All,

 

well my time on Priscilla has come to a stop! the last six months have been brilliant.

I miss going into the West end on a daily basis and working with a great cast.

 

After only one day off i have started work on You`ll Never Walk Alone at Royal Court Theatre Liverpool.

it charts the history of my beloved Liverpool FC the story is told through the eyes of the Kelly family over 120 yrs  with brilliant music arranged by the wonderful Howard Gray it will run 30/09/11 to 29/10/11 then some time off before starting Panto Dick Whittington at Theatre Royal Bath playing King Rat you can follow his exploits on Twitter @KingRatBath or me @MarkMoraghan I will be appearing on the Music with Laughter show at Liverpool Empire Theatre on 22/10/11 see links below..

Hi All,

 

just to let you know my time on PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT ends on 3rd Sept 2011. I will miss the show and everyone connected with it!. It has been a fantastic 6 months thank you to all who came!

 

I have one day off before starting YOU`LL NEVER WALK ALONE by Nicky Alt & Bob Eaton who will direct at ROYAL COURT LIVERPOOL the play is about the history of LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB from its forming in1892 to present day, covering the glories & tragedies of my beloved club so as you can guess i am very excited about it there will be quite a few songs in the show too so if you`re a red hope to see you there, if not you might learn something!

 

Dec through to 22nd January i`ll be playing KING RAT in DICK WHITTINGTON at THEATRE ROYAL BATH THEATRE ROYAL BOOKING king rat is on Twitter @KingRatBath to see what he`s up to also tweet me on @MarkMoraghan.

 

so a busy year it will have been and a very enjoyable one! thank`s for visiting and coming to the shows.

for your interest,i will be taking over from Ray Meagher as Bob in Priscilla Queen Of The Desert at The Palace Theatre London from Mon 7th March.

i will not be performing on Fri18th or Sat 19th due to a prior engagement at The Philharmonic Hall Liverpool,where i`ll be performing with Mel C and Carl Davis and the amazing RLPO for the Roy Castle Cancer Appeal.

HI All,

 

belated happy new year. I will be singing at the Philharmonic Hall Liverpool on Fri 18th March to celebrate 20yrs of The Roy Castle Cancer Apeal..The RLPO will be conducted by Carl Davis along with myself Melanie C and guests so come along!

 

I am delighted to announce i will be an official patron of CLAIRE HOUSE CHILDRENS HOSPICE in March which is a great honour and i will be doing a trek to raise much needed funds see this site for details.

 

also hoping to team up with Nicky Campbell very soon to finish album number 2 he`s been writing some new classics!

Hi All,

 

Back home after a lovely week in Majorca,with my girls.

i`ve had a busy few days, meetings, a trip to Liverpool, for my panto, press launch,managed to catch up with my Grandkids.

I will be hosting The British Care Awards this Friday at The Imperial War Museum Duxford.

Really looking forward to it, as the last one i did at Arsenal`s Emirates stadium was great fun, i also get to sing again !

It's been a while since my last update as i have been busy!

"OUR DAY OUT" has received rave reviews across the board and everybody is very proud to be involved with such a fantastic piece.

We all have high hopes for a London transfer!!!

 

Other news. I will be hosting the BRITISH CARE AWARDS later this month at EMIRATES STADIUM LONDON  and IMPERIAL WAR MUSEUM DUXFORD then a short break before starting panto  ALADDIN in Liverpool.

 

In the New Year i will be teaming up with NICKY CAMPBELL again  for more musical fun our day jobs permitting!

 

I hope you all had a great Summer. I'm  still wearing shorts until October!

Latest news:       I will be playing "BRIGGS" IN WILLIE RUSSELL`S MUSICAL "OUR DAY OUT"  in August through to Oct 2010 at THE ROYAL COURT THEATRE LIVERPOOL i`m delighted to be working with the lovely PAULINE DANIELS and STEPHEN FLETCHER again swotting starts now!.....other news PANTO SEASON Nov through to Jan 2011 takes me back to THE EMPIRE THEATRE LIVERPOOL FOR ALADDIN once again i`ll be donning the curly slippers for "ABANAZAR" The Genie of the Lamp is played by PAMELA ANDERSON AND WISHY WASHY is played by fellow Scouser LES DENNIS.. so a busy time ahead and hopefully some gigs along the way too so watch this space.

did a lovely gig at the 100 club in London for FRIENDS OF THE CHILDREN OF TANZANIA and we raised over £5000 on the night if you would like to help see links page on this site ... Nicky is away in June covering the World Cup in South Africa lucky sod!! i will be playing at a private function in June at The Midland Hotel Manchester with the full line up. You can catch me in an episode of DOCTORS on BBC1 Tue 1st June.
